ELISABETH OGDEN

In the spring of 2014, I spent three weeks travelling throughout Peru with a group of fellow students and Spanish professor from my college in the United States.  We traveled, visited numerous Inca sites, trekked to Machu Picchu, spent time in Cusco, and studied Peruvian literature and history.  Most of the Inca sites we visited were very close to Cusco, but we also visited Pikallacta and Tipon, which are a bit further out.  Tipon in particluar is a amazing site, with huge terraced fields and an impressive irrigation system that still works today.  Read more about my time at Pikallacta and Tipon here.
