ABOUT ELISABETH OGDEN

Elisabeth was born and raised in a small rural town in upstate New York.  She graduated from Elmira College in New York State in 2016, where she studied childhood education and art.

From June 2016 to July 2018, Elisabeth served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Moldova (which you can read about on her blog here). As a Peace Corps Volunteer, she taught English to students in grades 2 through 9 in a small town in the southeastern region of Moldova.

Elisabeth traveled throughout the United States (mostly along the East Coast) with her parents growing up.  Her parents took the family abroad for the first time in 2008 to Switzerland (Elisabeth was 14 at the time), and it's safe to say that the entire family caught the travel bug while there. Since then, Elisabeth has traveled internationally to Canada (multiple times), Peru (2014), South Africa (2016), Romania (2017), lceland (2018), Scotland (2018, 2019), Ireland (2018), and lived abroad for two years in Moldova (2016-2018)

When she's not traveling, Elisabeth lives in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York, where she is an elementary school teacher.

On this site, you'll find photos from Elisabeth's travels and her Peace Corps experience.
