Lake Titicaca

In the spring of 2014, I spent three weeks travelling throughout Peru with a group of fellow students and Spanish professor from my college in the United States.  We traveled, visited numerous Inca sites, trekked to Machu Picchu, spent time in Cusco, and studied Peruvian literature and history.  We spent a night in Puno then headed to a number of islands on Lake Titicaca by boat.  We visited Uros Islands, the floating islands, as well as Amantani Island (where we spent the night) and Taquile Island.  This was one of my favorite parts of my Peru trip.
