I traveled to Scotland in the fall of 2018. I took a day trip from Edinburgh to the Loch Lomond and Stirling areas. I visited Stirling, Loch Lomond, Aberfoyle, drove along the Duke's Pass, Stirling Castle, and The Kelpies. This is another beautiful area of Scotland, with lots of rolling hills, and the views of Loch Lomond are stunning! Stirling Castle is a fun castle to visit, since many of the rooms have been refinished in the style it had in the past. The Kelpies are a large metal sculpture outside of Edinburgh that look like horses but are meant to be of kelpies, an evil creature in Scottish lore. You can read about my day trip here.
