I traveled to Romania in the summer of 2017 with my parents. One of our destinations was the medieval walled town of Sighisoara, a UNESCO heritage site. This town was originally built in 12th century, though most of the existing structures date to the 14th and 15th centuries. The medieval town is considered one of the best preserved in Europe.
