From June 2016 to July 2018, I lived and worked in Moldova as a Peace Corps Volunteer. You can read more about my time there here​.  Moldova is well-known for its wine, which has been produced in here for centuries.  There are a number of wineries scattered throughout the country offering tours and tastings, including the two wineries with the largest underground wine cellars in the world (the largest being Milesti Mici and the second largest being Cricova).  So far I've had the opportunity to visit three wineries, Purcari Winery and Et Cetera Winery in the southeast, and Cricova Winery just outside of Chisinau (read about each of my visits by clicking on the links).
