I traveled to South Africa in April 2016 with my parents to visit my sister, who was attending a university there.  We drove through Addo Elephant National Park for several hours, doing a self-guided tour.  We saw plenty, and this allowed us to go at our own pace.  We saw lots of elands, elephants, and wart hogs, as well as quite a few zebras.  The most exciting, however, was definitely the cheetahs- an extremely rare sight (they aren't actually supposed to be in the park but had somehow gotten in).  Read more about our time in Addo here.
